The Iberian Lynx or Lynx Pardinus is a medium-sized feline that inhabits the Iberian Peninsula.
It is an endangered species. The reasons why it is endangered are:

• Its main food is rabbits, and the rabbit population has declined by more than 80% due to disease.
• The transformation of their habitat by road construction and population surveys.
• Natural disasters such as fires.
• Poaching, illegal trafficking, poisons, etc.
• They’ve been run over.
• Diseases. In 2012 there were only 156 Iberian lynx left in the wild, but in 2017 the population had increased to 589, so the spice is in the process of recovering, although they are still very few, and we must continue fighting for their recovery.*

►Language: the crochet pattern is available in English and Spanish. You will have the two languages available to download, you choose which one you want to download or download them both.

►Supplies you will need:

• Black and beige yarn for a 4 mm crochet hook.
• Black and pink yarn for a 3 mm crochet hook.
• A little acrylic yarn in beige and cream colors, to make the mane.
• A little black acrylic yarn to make the black tufts of the ears.
• 3,5 mm crochet hook.
• 2,5 mm crochet hook.
• A pair of 12 mm safety eyes.
• Fiberfill.
• Tapestry needle, stitch marker and scissors.

►Size:
The finished Lincy amigurumi measures about 8’7 inches tall. It’s a cuddle sized amigurumi :-)

►Stitch key:
This amigurumi pattern is written using US crochet terms.
ch: chain.
sc: single crochet.
inc: increase, 2 sc in the same stitch.
dec: decrease, 2 sc together.
sl st: slip stitch.
hdc: half double crochet.
BLO: Back Loop Only.
