Lindy Pop is a striped wrap worked on the bias with syncopated color changes and loads of fun swingy fringe. Named for the iconic flapper dance this wrap is full of the drama and action of the roaring 20’s dance craze with a modern pop of color. Patterning on both the right and wrong sides of the lace panels toss the stripes up and down into a frenzied pattern of steps with a bold chevron of garter stitch creating the backbone of the piece. The sassy fringe creates minimal finishing since each color can be attached without working in, and unraveled into fringe at the end.

Pattern Notes
This shawl is started with a garter stitch triangle in the first color. Stitches are cast on for the lace sections and picked up from the triangle for the garter stitch section. The center of the shawl is worked with increases and decreases to create the bias shaping, while the sides are worked evenly in the lace pattern. The lace has patterning on both the right and wrong sides.

Lace is charted and written.
