Linear is a mid-arm length fingerless/mitt and cowl set using a textured stitch pattern, which is great for variegated and tonal yarns.

The fingerless gloves/mitts are worked from the cuff to fingers beginning with ribbing worked back and forth, then still working in rows, begin stitch pattern with button band, then switch to working in the round to end with ribbing at fingers.

The cowl is worked bottom up beginning with ribbing, and then the stitch pattern, ending with a ribbed button band.

SKILL LEVEL: Advance Beginner / Intermediate

FINISHED SIZE (unstretched):
COWL: 18” circumference and 8” long.
MITTS: 7” hand circumference and 9” long.

Yarn: KnitPicks Swish (100% Superwash Merino
Wool; 220 yds 201 m/100 g): Thunderhead
Tonal, 2 skeins.
Needles: US 8 (5.0 mm); 16” circular (cir) and dpn
or size to obtain correct gauge.
