WELCOME TO LINEARITY MYSTERY KNIT-ALONG!
Spring is here which means we knit shawls! Something about changing seasons always makes me want to cast on a fresh shawl or a wrap and this year was not an exception:) Hence I present to you my newest and freshest knit:)

How does it work?
If you are new and never took part in a mystery knit, fear not - mystery knit is a knit that you start without knowing what it’s going to look like with clues being released on a set schedule. That’s it! The clues arrive here in your library and you can download them and knit on:)

What this wrap is not?
Well, it’s a wrap…since it’s a mystery knit, it’s easier for me to tell you what it’s not:) so you know what you are getting yourself into

this wrap is not/does not have

  • long cast on
  • short rows
  • complicated stitches
  • cables/twisted stitches

This wrap is not a stitch sampler type of a pattern, it has a fair amount of relaxing knitting as well as twist in construction and a modern wearable look! Sounds good? Then let’s go over some details!

YARN USAGE AND COLORS
Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply – 100% merino; 400 yards (366 m) per 113 g (3.99 oz)

Color A: 400 yards
Color B: 400 yards
Color C: 400 yards
My sample was worked with Merlot(Color A, burgundy), Sparkling Sand(Color B, speckled cream) and Pitch(Color C, grey) - shown on second image

I used Miss Babs Yummy 2 ply for my sample – it’s a standard fingering weight yarn at 400m per 100g!

YARN KITS Miss Babs put a bunch of gorgeous options here - there are too many for me to attach to this page!

You will need three skeins total – one skein of each color. There is a lot of flexibility as far as colors go – I would suggest Color A(Merlot in my sample, dark burgundy) to have good contrast with the other two colors and Colors B and C to be complimentary with a bit of contrast. See a couple of example on Page 3 – the kit used for my sample is on the right.

You can use solids, tonals and even variegated but I am partial to solids for this project. Samples of combos are shown in the photos here!
