This pattern is for standard gauge machines that have lace-making capabilities. It may be done with Brother and Toyota machines that have separate lace carriages or with Singer/Studio and Toyota machines that make the lace and knit with a single carriage. Fairisle capability is also needed. Use any yarn that makes nice lace and gets 7 stitches/10 rows per inch or close in stockinette. Gauge isn’t critical for this project. You will need two colors of the same yarn or two yarns that get the same gauge. You will also need to know the row gauge for fairisle. The one size fits girls from about age 10 through adult ladies.
