Densely knit in chunky yarn, this project whips up quickly. (It takes me about 2 hours per mitten for the knitting.) The mittens are lined with polar fleece. Pattern for lining is included on the webpage.

Be sure and check your gauge. I knit tightly, and these were meant to be especially dense for warmth.

These mittens can be easily adapted to colour work patterns, as my one photo shows.

I used about 45 g. of yarn for one pair of plain mittens.
