The yardage of the put-up for the recommended yards seems to be larger now than when this pattern was first published.

This is a crocheted Capelet that calls for 5 hanks of Kiparoo Farms’ Celtic Lace Linen yarn, which used to be 360 yards per hank, and it called for 5 skeins. A size K hook was used to crochet the body.

An additional hank of their Celtic Lace Cotton, which seems to have been put up in either a 370-yard hank or a 650-yard hank, is used along with a size G hook for the edging.

The total yardage requirement listed here was done using the 360-yard hanks of the Linen yarn and the 370-yard hank of the Cotton.
