Linen Collection gives you 2 patterns in 1 for making both the Crossbody and Phone Pouch. Perfect for carrying your phone, sun glasses and other summer accessories.

Leave unlined for a relaxed, slouchy finish or add a neutral or bright contrast fabric for more structure or a pop of colour.

Techniques
The pattern for both bags is based around a single motif-square worked ‘in the round’. When making the top sections of the bag you will be working in rows. The work is turned between each row using turning chains. The final edgings are finished using pretty bobbles and picot edging.

Each bag uses similar techniques. There are also links to my mini-video tutorials showing you a few extra techniques you may not have used before.

Materials
You will need 4 balls of DROPS Bomull-Lin yarn to make both bags.
I have chosen this yarn for the rustic linen quality but any aran/ 10ply -weight cotton/linen yarn could be used.

Notions
I have specified a 4mm hook which is a smaller size than yarn specifies in order to create a firmer fabric which will help to hold its shape.
