Airy and light-weight, this knitted linen and silk blend shawl is the perfect summer wrap. Knitted from the long edge, the unusual orientation of the stockinet and garter stitch creates lovely interest in the finished rectangular shawl without the complexity of difficult stitches. The pattern features concentric rectangles of garter stitch and stockinet with lace holes.

Samples are knit in Hand Maiden Flyss (400m/437yds per 100g skein). Yarn requirements are Small: 1 skein and Large: 2 skeins.

Sizes after wet blocking are Small: 50” x 16”, 127 cm x 40.5 cm and
Large: 72” x 20”, 183 x 50 cm.
