Linen-stitch Kimono Booties
This pattern is
available for free.
Notions:
- 80cm of thin elastic
- Two small buttons, preferably tunnel shank
These booties are great chuck-on slippers for around the house. They provide lots of freedom for growth and movement while being toasty warm due to their close-weave pattern.
This bootie was designed for my little baby at about 9 months old. Her feet were about 11cm long.
You can make this for another length, adding 1cm to the length of the foot you’re making for, and adjusting the sides as described in the pattern.
These are made with a tight tension for a close warm weave.
