CONSTRUCTION
A simple bag that is knit top down and in the round, with linen stitch. Decreases are made near the bottom of the bag for a slightly curved bag base. Live stitches are bound off and the seam runs through the center of the bag base. Stitches are picked up for the two bag straps.

This bag can be made with 2 long straps, or with 1 long strap and 1 short strap for a knot closure

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner

GAUGE
20 sts and 30 rounds = 4” (10cm) in linen stitch, knit on 5.5mm needles with a DK weight yarn. Gauge is not crucial for this project.

YARN, NEEDLES & NOTIONS
40cm circular needles
Tapestry needle
1 BOR marker, 3 stitch markers

SIZE
This bag can be made with yarn of any weight, just make sure to go up 2 needle sizes than you normally would. If your gauge is different from the pattern, the resulting dimensions of the bag will change as well.

The bag height and length of straps are customizable. When knit according to the provided gauge, this pattern will give you a bag with the following dimensions: 23cm wide x 22cm height
