Lauren’s simple, dainty linen stitch muffatees are quick and easy to knit. They’re knit seamlessly and without a thumb gusset as an introduction to linen stitch. They are knit in the round, then flat to form a gap for the thumb, then joined in the round again. They’re adorned with a button to make them extra special!

The pattern includes an explanation of the picot cast on, which is optional.

These muffatees were designed in May 2017 for a linen stitch class at Over the Rainbow Yarn in Rockland, Maine.
