This thrifty pattern was created from a desire to work through my large bin of cotton yarn, and make something easy and functional. These little coasters can use 1, 2, 3, or any number of colors depending on the desired look. There are two fringe construction methods presented, and neither requires weaving in a single end or running a color up the side – the fringe is created as you go! A photo tutorial is included.

This pattern uses only 2 basic stitches (chain stitch and single crochet), and is suitable for an adventurous beginner who wants to play with color!
