Linen
Linen cloth is one of my favourite things, particularly the kind that has been well-loved. It’s soft, strong, lustrous - and oh, how I adore those little nubs and slubs that give the woven fibre its delicious character. linen has been inspired by the texture of this gorgeous fibre; a tiny rolled brim hints at the creases that develop in washed-yet-unironed linen cloth, while uneven stripes of seed stitch mimic the slubs I love so much. Select a single ply or handspun yarn to really emphasise the texture in the design.
Simple, beautiful, and yet utterly decadent, linen will be your go-to hat for cooler days.
linen is knitted in the round, bottom-up.
A perfect project to use up 50g balls of leftover sock weight yarn.
