Stitches you need to know

Optional…Foundation half double crochet
Half double crochet
Single crochet
Chain stitch
4 DC Cluster stitch, (yarn over insert hook into loop,pull up a loop, yarn over pull through two loops, yarn over insert hook into same loop, pull up a loop, yarn over pull through two loops, and repeat till you have five loops on your hook, yarn over and pull through all five loops, chain one to close.)

Special stitches

Two Front Loops Stitch - TFLS = (Going in from below, hook into the loop below the front loop AND the front loop of the stitch (these are normally called the back loop and 3rd loop of an hdc when viewed from the other side of the work, but now they are at the front of the work) yarn over and complete HDC
