This is a striped hat worked in the round. Look closely at the pattern and you will also see squares or blocks of stripes. A simple illusion pattern.

US 5 (3.75mm) and US 7 (4.5mm) 16” circular needles are used and US 7 double point needles are needed to complete the crown.
Hat weights about 65g
Other worsted weight yarns could be substituted for the project.
2 contrasting colors are used for the project.

The crown of the hat can be finished in a solid color or continue working in stripes.
