Geometric shapes float on a grid of fine lines in this airy and delicate shawl in 3 sizes (petite/medium/tall) that is a modern take on lace. The shawl is worked from the bottom up beginning with a border pattern of geometric lace. A diagonal lace pattern is combined with short rows to make up the body with shoulder shaping. Knit in a delicate lace weight yarn to highlight the openwork motif or in a slightly heavier yarn for greater depth and rustic texture.Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement.
