LINGON Scarf
The LINGON Scarf is knit with a luxurious Merino Wool and Silk blend Yarn. 5 colors are used to create a color block pattern.
The cast-on will create an invisible seam, from which double knitting will be used as a technique to create a thick and luscious fabric. At the same time, a combination of colors will be used in blocks to establish the irregularly striped pattern. An Italian Cast-off will create the same seamless end as for the cast-on.
LINGON means ‘lingonberry’ in Swedish – a beautiful and sweet red berry that grows in the bountiful forests in northern Sweden. The mix of colors in the yarn used as well as the normal time of year for lingonberry harvest being at the beginning of fall when we start using hats and scarves is what inspired this name.
