‘Linieret’ = Lines is the literal translation of the Danish word. The sweater is made of horizontal, vertical and oblique lines.
‘Linieret’ is a sweater worked from the top down in color blocks and blocks of half brioche pattern and garter stitch ridges.
Yarn:
MC: 750m, (900m), (950m), (1050m), 1160m of fingering weight merino yarn Anina from Filcolana 420m/460y for 100g
CC: 320m, (370m), 420m, (450m), 500m of fingering weight merino yarn Anina from Filcolana 420m/460y for 100g
MC+CC: 1070m, (1270m), 1320m, (1500m), 1660m of lace weight Drops kid-silk yarn 880m/960y for 100g
The sweater is worked with a fingering weight yarn and a lace yarn held together
Using other yarns, or knitting the sweater either longer or shorter, might affect the amount of yarn needed.
Sizes:
The sweater has narrow sleeves and a positive ease of 25-30cm/8”-12” around the bust.
The finished measurement around the bust:
XS: 100cm/39.5”, (S: 110cm/43.25”), M: 119cm/47”, (L: 129cm/51”), XL: 139cm/55”
Gauge:
10x10cm/4x4”: 17.5 sts over 38 rows in half brioche pattern with needle 4.5mm/US 7, or the size needed to obtain gauge
10x10cm/4x4”: 17 sts over 30 rows in garter stitch rows with needle 5mm/US 8, or the size needed to obtain gauge
