Inspired by the video game, The Legend of Zelda, I created this hat after the hat worn by Link. I started this design after my nephew requested a Link hat to resemble the one Link wears in Twilight Princess. I looked at several pictures as well as on the video game to try to get it as close to accurate as I could. This pattern includes written instructions for the hat, small and large 3D Ears, two options for creating the X stitches up the sides of the hat, as well as the earrings. You can make this hat any color and it is still completely awesome. It’s fun, cute and warm.

I have included in this pattern several photo tutorials as well as a link to a video tutorial to help you create the 3D Ears. I decided to list this as intermediate due to the difficulty of the ears and the X stitches on the hat. However, with my photo and video tutorials, you shouldn’t have any trouble.
