Linnea in Monet’s Garden is a classic cropped cardigan & beret set with eight sizes for girls 6 mo - 12 yrs! Cardigan is knit flat seamlessly from the top down with raglan construction accented with sweet eyelet lace & trimmed with Broderie Anglaise lace which provides beautiful lattice-like texture. After sleeves are divided & placed onto waste yarn, body is completed before sleeve stitches are picked up & worked in the round to a 3/4 length. The garter stitch button band is worked at the same time as the cardigan body, so no stitches to pick up at the end – simply weave in ends & sew on buttons! The matching beret, knit top down in the round, will fly off your needles!

Video tutorial links are provided for help with picking up stitches (w/o gaps!) for sleeves, Knit 1 Long, button band stabilization & the beret’s circular cast on. Instructions are written with helpful charts. Please read through pattern & circle size being made before starting to avoid confusion.
