Linotte tee is worked from the top down, starting in the round with the neckband then the back neck and shoulders are knitted flat with short rows to shape the neckline.
The pieced is joined in the round and worked with a slightly modified raglan shaping.
A graphic pattern is gradually created on the sleeves, creating a surprising and amusing 3D relief.

Once the work on the sleeves is complete, the back and front are worked separately. The body is worked to hem, before being joined again. worked to hem,

The body is knitted seamlessly in stockinette to hem in and finished with in 1/1 rib.
All finishing touches are made as you work.
It’s a project punctuated by a discreet blend of textured stitch and jersey.

Gauge
22 sts x 28 rounds = 10 cm /4 inches in stockinette on larger needles, after blocking.

Needles 
• 3,5 mm US 4 circular needles for the body and sleeves.
• 2,75 mm US 2 circular needles for ribbing.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Linotte est un tee-shirt aux manches très courtes qui se tricote du haut vers le bas (en top-down) sans couture. 
Construit autour d’un empiècement raglan légèrement modifié.
Sur les manches un motif graphique se crée peu à peu, dessinant un relief en 3D surprenant et amusant.
C’est un projet rythmé par le discret mélange de point texturé et de jersey.
Une fois le travail des manches terminés, dos et devant sont travaillés sapement avant d’être réunis à nouveau. Le corps se tricote en en jersey endroit et se termine par une bande de côte.
L’ensemble des finitions se font au fur et à mesure.
