Triangular pattern which starts from centre top and increases from both ends and both sides of a centre stitch. Includes bands of plain garter stitch with individual bands of three different - and easy - lace stitches. The lace part is charted but clearly explained and also provides an easy introduction into lace knitting from a chart.

It works well with two different colours, one variegated for the garter stitch sections and plain for the lace section. However it can also be worked with the same colour throughout.
