HINTS:

To change colors, put hook through stitch where color changes. Pull through first portion of single crochet, then pull through new color on second half (2 loops on hook) of single crochet. Proceed to next stitch with new color. Single crochet a few stitches. Cut end of old color leaving about 3 inches of yarn. This can be knotted to new color end.

Directions here are for the standard lion. When making the White Lion, entire body, legs, muzzle, ears, tail are all in aran color yarn. All other directions are the same.
