Sometimes when song lyrics touch your heart just so, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as translating the art from one medium to another - and just like that music and knitting can come together! <3

Lion hearted is a raglan sweater with detailed raglan shaping (the pattern mimicking the pulse of a heartbeat) with stranded color work on the torso and color work motifs near the sleeve cuffs. The body color work features a roaring lion and the quote “I wish that I could just be brave/I must become a lion hearted girl/ready for a fight” from Florence + the Machine’s song Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up). The cuff motifs show a stranded color work rabbit with a heart. It’s a sweater sure to empower anyone who chooses to wield it.

Charts are included for the heartbeat raglan shaping, sweater body, and for the sleeve cuff motifs.
