Inspired by the film Lion King, this blanket is a nod to Simba and his dad, Mufasa.

Knitted in DK yarn, the finished size is 60x80cm but can easily be enlarged by adding more rows and columns- I show you where to add within the pattern.

The pattern is simple to follow, and uses 200g of white plus small amounts of other colours so perfect for a stash buster.

Instantly available as a PDF after purchasing, the pattern includes:

  • chart
  • full written instructions
  • photographs

It is knitted in intarsia, a type of knitting which uses multiple colours to create a pattern or image. This is a relatively easy pattern for those new to intarsia as it only uses three colours.
