This adorable lion rattle is perfect for babies. Tested by my 8 month old twins, who absolutely loved it from the start. I made this pattern inspired by my son Lucas’ outfit, just like the lion he is very bright and happy.

Make this rattle with whatever yarn (suitable for children) you wish, and use the hook you prefer. If you use thicker or thinner yarn the size will differ.

I used 2 colors of mercerized cotton, hook 3mm, a wood bite ring of 7cm, and a rattle for the inside. You will also need stuffing, a needle and scissors.

The pattern uses pictures to illustrate the more difficult parts of the pattern, and the pattern has been tested by several advanced crocheters.
