Lionheart
Lionheart pattern is free to download! Happy Knitting! :)
Lionheart is a cabled hat with wide brim. The wide ribbing produces a slouchy hat, but if you prefer a tighter hat you can wear it with folded brim. The optional tubular cast-on provides a beautiful, elastic hem.
Gauge
25 sts and 23 rounds = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Lionheart Cable Pattern knit in the round with needle A after blocking
Base gauge: 17 sts and 23 rounds = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit in the round with needle A after blocking
Obtaining the correct gauge is not crucial, but any differences will affect the size of the finished hat.
Finished Measurements
45 (51: 57.5: 64) cm / 17¾ (20¼: 22¾: 25¼) inches circumference at widest point, 22 (23.5: 26.5: 28) cm / 8¾ (9¼: 10½: 11) inches height, slightly stretched. The sample is a size Adult S, shown on a 55 cm / 21½ inches head.

Sample made with Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 Heathers (100% Wool, 201 m /220 y per skein) in colourway Silver Grey.
