These fingerless gloves are knit flat in a herringbone stitch, with an inset short-row thumb. The total length is approximately 9”, but a standard 100g skein of fingering weight yarn has enough yardage to extend the gloves to a true opera length of 18” if desired.
These were inspired by the Soul Queen of New Orleans, Irma Thomas. The “Queen of Soul” colorway on Dragonfly Djinni is available exclusively through The Quarter Stitch in New Orleans, LA, and has been released as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations.
