These are SO CUTE, and will fit around an EOS lip balm or a standard size Easter egg! Photos just don’t do these justice. Make with a key ring or swivel clip on top to easily attach to your bag or keys so you can carry your lip balm, or carry some candy or spare change or anything else that will fit inside an Easter egg. You can also make these without the key ring on top, to use and give for cute decorations. These would also look adorable as a Christmas ornament, with a surprise GIFT inside! Hang from the tree with an EOS lip balm, an Easter egg, OR a wiffle ball (to maintain shape) inside.

Includes a 4-page pattern with instructions on how to make all 4 different pieces: Frosting/soft serve top, ice cream scoop top, cupcake bottom, and ice cream cone bottom. Instructions also given for variations (like chocolate vanilla twist) and extras, like adding a cherry on top, sprinkles or chocolate chips.

Skills Level: Intermediate, due to shaping.

Gauge: 4 stitches and approximately 3.5 rows = 1 inch. Check size as you go to make sure it will fit snugly. If you tend to crochet loosely, you may need to use a smaller hook size than pattern calls for.

Materials:
• Small amounts of worsted weight yarn, 2 colors (tan for ice cream cone bottom; yellow or brown for cupcake bottom; and whatever color you want for the frosting/ice cream.
• Size G/4.25mm and F/3.75mm Crochet Hooks
• Stitch Marker to mark beginning st of a round
• Large Jump ring and Key Ring, or Swivel Clip (optional)
• Small 1.25” Elastic Hair Band
• Tapestry needle (yarn needle)
