There is a mistake in the pattern from Point Twenty - PLEASE DIRECT MESSAGE ME FOR AN UPDATED COPY OF THE PATTERN.
The instructions should have a stitch marker in place as follows and you should K2 stitches before placing the beads:

Point Twenty
Next row (dec): Cast off 7 sts (1 st on RH needle), yo, K1, place a stitch marker, yo, K to end. (138 sts)
Next row and 5 foll WS rows: K5, P to 6 sts before stitch marker, K6, slip stitch marker - SSM, K to end.
Next row (inc): K2, yo, K1, SSM, yo, K to end. (140 sts)
Next row (inc): K3, yo, K1, SSM, yo, K to end. (142 sts)
Next row (inc): K4, yo, K1, SSM, yo, K to end. (144 sts)
Next row (inc): K5, yo, K1, SSM, yo, K to end. (146 sts)
Next row (inc): K6, yo, K1, SSM, yo, K to end. (148 sts)
Next row (inc): K7, yo, K1, SSM, yo, K to end. (150 sts)

Once you have finished this row you should have 9 stitches after the stitch marker (for the point)
Next row (WS): K5, P to 6 sts before stitch marker, K6, slip stitch marker - SSM, (9 stitches after the stitch marker) K2, (Bead 1(G), K1) 3 times, bead 1(G).

All subsequent final point rows should have K2 after SSM before starting the beads.
