Written instructions in a pdf file, full of images and detailed easy to follow descriptions, as well as a graph of the Liquorice Allsorts mosaic - if this is your preferred form.

The mosaic in this pattern is an overlay type, where you use FLdc and change colour after every round. After a few rounds it becomes very intuitive and you’ll be soon crocheting it on an autopilot.

You will need yarn of the same weight in 8 colours (although could be done in as little as 2 contrasting colours) and the hook sized to your yarn. I share in the pdf the exact colours and amounts that I used.

You will also need buttons for the cushion cover - detailed instructions of where to attach them as well as how to make button holes are in the pdf. Alternatively you can use a zip fastener if you are good at sewing.

Since the cushion is made in a circular way, the loose ends are hidden as you work.

You can use these instructions for any project that can be done in a circular way - like pillow case, pencil case, tote bag. You can also use the main mosaic for a blanket, but please note that with non circular flat object you will have to deal with a lot of loose ends.

A printer friendly version is added, with just text and one graph image in the end.
