Azulejos are traditional Portuguese ceramic tiles known for their intricate patterns and vibrant colors, adorning buildings throughout Portugal. The Lisboa sweater draws inspiration from these beautifully crafted tiles, incorporating their rich visual language into a colorwork design. As you knit this top-down sweater in the round with two colors of DK yarn, you’ll be creating a wearable piece that echoes the charm and cultural heritage of Lisboa’s azulejos. Gauge
19 stitches x 25 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4”) in simple stockinette stitch, using 4mm (US6) needles.

Le pull Lisboa s’inspire de ces carreaux, incorporant leur riche langage visuel dans un motif de tricot bicolore. En tricotant ce pull en circulaire du haut vers le bas avec deux couleurs de fil DK, vous créerez une pièce qui évoque le charme et le patrimoine culturel des azulejos de Lisbonne.
