This is a pattern for a small porcupine about 6 1/2 inches high when knitted in worsted weight yarn. It also includes instructions for the sundress. Mine took about 65 yards of brown (dark chocolate) and about 27 yards of yellow (spun gold) Woolstok worsted and 3 yards of gray (storm cloud) Woolstok light, plus a few yards of other yarn for embroidering the face. Gauge and yarn weight don’t really matter as long as you get a dense fabric so that the stuffing doesn’t show through. Thicker yarn will give you a larger porcupine and thinner yarn will yield a smaller porcupine. I’ve included a lot of pictures to make the pattern easier to follow. I hope you will have fun knitting this porcupine.
