I know how much children like to have pockets, so I designed this sweater with two patch-pockets in basket weave pattern. They are big enough to fit two adult handfuls of acorns or stones (tested!).

It is quick and easy to knit, but has some advanced elements like the short rows (used to shape the neckline, but it is optional) and hand sewing (to attach the pockets).

0-6 months (6-12 months, 1-2 years, 2-4 years, 4-6 years, 6-8 years, 8-10 years)

Chest circumference of the finished garment:
0-6 months (43cm/17”), 6-12 months (46cm/18”), 1-2 years (50cm/20”), 2-4 years (56cm/22”), 4-6 years (61cm/24”), 6-8 years (66cm/26”), 8-10 years (71cm/28”).
