Little Acorn Pattern with Leaf, by Teresa Ewers

This pattern comes in five sizes, but its easy to see the changes to increase the size to fit a larger head. Sizes include: Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, and 1 to 2 years. I use soft Worsted weight yarn the thickest I can find for this hat.

It works up quickly and looks super cute. The felt leaf and button are optional and the leaf can be any design you choose, but I have a template to follow in the pattern.

Knowledge of crochet is a must, stitches included are single crochet, and puff stitch. You will need a small amount of felt and a button that is 1 to 1 1/2 inches wide. I use a real tree button which can be purchased at Etsy.com.
