This is a long awaited bonnet to match the Little Acorns Sweater.
The cap is knitted sideways, with acorns around the brim. The shaping is done with short rows. There is a photo-tutorial on how to close up the back as you cast off making the cap truly seamless.
The sizes are adjusted by yarn weight and needle size the same as the sweater. The pattern is fully tested in all sizes. It is a quick & fun knit and only uses a small amount of yarn.
One ball of Regia Nautica Color 6ply yarn (410yards/150g) will make a sweater and bonnet, in the 6 month size.
The NB size was made with one 50g ball of baby yarn and there was enough left over to make a pair of Acorn Pixie Socks.
The 1yr size takes just 1 ball of worsted weight yarn. All gauges for the different sizes are in the pattern PDF.
