This pattern is 13 pages (including a cover page), with step by step instructions and photos for assembly so you can make your very own armadillo. You can also make it into an ornament!

My armadillo turned out to be about 7.5 inches from nose to tip of tail and 4 inches tall to the top of the ears using the supplies listed below.

Supplies:
4mm hook
Yarn Needle for sewing
Poly Fil
6mm safety eyes

Size 4 (medium) yarn in
dark grey, light grey, and a light tan or pink.

I use “I Love This Cotton”:
Pewter
Dove
Taupe

The extra plushy one in the last few photos I made as a gift. I used Loops and Threads Sweet Snuggles and a 10mm hook with 15mm eyes. I didn’t measure it, but you can see it’s much larger.

Terms you’ll need to know (American):
Ch – Chain
MC – Magic Circle
SC – Single Crochet
Inc – Increase (2 single crochet stitches in one stitch)
Dec – Decrease (Single Crochet two together)
HDC – Half Double Crochet
FLO – Front Loop Only
BLO – Back Loop Only
