Little Astronaut
NOTE
This is a downloadable PDF amigurumi crochet pattern, not a finished toy!
This pattern includes 3 pages with step-by-step detailed instructions and 10 pictures.
The tutorial does not contain lessons on crocheting, only the pattern!
This is a “one-piece” crochet pattern.
This technique means that all the parts of the toy are not sewn on, but are joined into the right places during the crocheting process. I thought for you in which places needed to join parts, you just have to follow the instructions. In some places, crocheting continues from the special holes.
All these methods free you from the need to sew on toy details with the needle, finding symmetric places.
I really love this technique! Having tried it once, I no longer want to go back to sewing on toy details with a needle.
Crocheting begins with small parts: arms and legs. Then make the head. Next make the body, attaching other parts in a process of crocheting.
To attach the parts, you will need to crochet SC through 3 loops. It’s not difficult!
LANGUAGE
English.
TOY SIZE
About 9.5 cm seated (if you will be used the same yarn and crochet hook as I used).
MATERIALS AND TOOLS
You can use ANY yarn. But all the yarn must be the same thickness! I used YarnArt “Jeans” 160 m/50 g or Alize “Cotton Gold” 330 m/100 g (55% cotton, 45% acrylic).
You can use ANY crochet hook suitable for your yarn. I used a 2.5 mm crochet hook.
I recommend using one stitch marker to mark the start of the row.
I recommend using a needle to hide the yarn ends.
Fiberfill for stuffing.
Scissors.
