I created this hat for my son. I wanted it to be simple, But still stand out. The
Bear and the Hebrew are both done using duplicate stitches. The single
stripes are worked right into the hat. I will include both charts. One for the
Bear, and another for the Hebrew which says Dov (Bear) Katan (little).
I will also include charts for Mom (דובה אמא Ima Dov) Dad (דוב אבא Abba Dov)
Finished size: Adult hat fits up to 23 inch Childs Hat 17 inches
Yarn: Red Heart super saver Café Latte and Red Heart super saver White
(note: you could get matching hats out of one skein of Jumbo super saver)
Needles: Us 6/ 4.00mm 16 inch circulars
Us 8/ 5.00mm 16 inch circulars
Along with 5.00mm Dpns or 32 Inch circular (magic Loop) to finish the crown of
the hat. You could us a 32 In circular or larger to do the whole hat working the
magic loop.
