This is a pattern for a small beaver about 6 inches high when knitted in worsted weight yarn. It also includes instructions for a safety vest and hard hat. Gauge and yarn weight don’t really matter as long as you get a dense fabric so that the stuffing doesn’t show through. Thicker yarn will give you a larger beaver and thinner yarn will yield a smaller beaver. I’ve included a lot of pictures to make the pattern easier to follow.
