Little Bilbo's Bunting Bag
Named for Hobbiton’s most famous inhabitant, Bilbo Gardiner was the tenth child of Samwise and Rosie (née Cotton) Gamgee. He had one younger sister, Ruby, and two younger brothers, Robin and Tolman.
Little Bilbo’s Bunting Bag is a cozy garment to replace a blanket for napping babies. The buttoned front allows easy dressing, and the generous kick bag frees baby’s legs to move without kicking off their blanket. The bodice has a folded collar which is low in the front to keep drafts away from baby’s neck without being a swallowing hazard, and the overlapping sleeve trim keeps the bodice close to the body without drafty gaps when baby moves their arms. The heart motif is adorable for any gender.
Note that this garment should not be worn by a baby old enough to be walking, as it would be a tripping hazard. For this reason, there are only two sizes available.
