Little Bit of Lace
I always have socks with me to knit. Whether they are simple formula stockinette socks in self striping yarn or a simple to remember pattern. I need something to keep my hands busy for those times I’m stuck in the passenger seat of a car, standing in line at the post office or just enjoying a cup of tea at the coffee shop. I found this pattern in the back of an ancient “Little Book of Stitches” pamphlet that I no longer own the cover to and loved how it gave a nice wavy edge, was easy to remember and looked just a little bit feminine.
As I get bored of doing endless rounds of stockinette, I like to add a little variety to my “Purse Socks” that make for a lovely sock without me having to concentrate too hard on what I am doing. This is the first in a series of sock patterns that meet that criteria.
While this pattern is free, I ask that you not sale socks made from this pattern. If you wish to make this pattern for profit, please contact me first.
