Little Bits Swings and Roundabouts is a celebration of the return of seasonal events - specifically the re-emergence of a few floral friends. You should be comfortable with basic sock knitting construction, but the pattern is easy enough for the adventurous beginning sock knitter - if you are comfortable with basic lace and cables you’ll be alright. The construction is cuff down combining a lace cuff with knit and purl ribbing where the knit columns have off-set cable sequences that taper off into the instep design. Intended to be a mid-calf sock in height it can easily be customized for shorter heights (how-to instructions included in the pattern notes).

Solid to semi-solid colorways will best display your handiwork. That said, this pattern was tested with a really nice multi-colored yarn with good results - just be aware you may lose pattern definition if your colorway is too variegated.

Written and charted for two 24” circular needles or one 40” or longer circular needle for magic loop. Pattern can easily be adapted to dpns by the knitter. This also makes a good two at a time knit since the stitches do not travel over the needles.
