Little Block Cowl
The Little Block Cowl is simple to make and is a great project if you are looking for an easy knit with just enough pattern to keep things interesting!
Work in your favourite DK weight yarn, the pattern will look great in both plain and tonal yarns.
Sizing:
One size only, with instructions how to adjust sizing.
Finished dimensions:
Blocked cowl measures approximately 30 cm x 30 cm (12 inches x 12 inches)
Gauge:
20 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4 inches) when blocked. Worked in pattern using 4mm needles.
Materials:
Approximately 100g of DK yarn. I used Women’s Institute Home Grown DK in Mustard (100% wool). A similar yarn is West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab.
3.25 mm (US size 3) and 4mm (US size 6) 40 cm (16 inch) circular needles or size required to achieve gauge. Pattern is written for a 40 cm (16 inch) circular needle but can be worked on long circular needle using magic loop if required.
