Little Blue Bandana
Little Blue Bandana, publishing August 1st, 2023! Happy (early) Granny Square Day.
A crochet neckerchief for this year’s Granny Square design. In lieu of creating a new square design for 2023, I revisited back to the basic granny stitch square and designed an accessory perfect for some late summer stitching.
The pattern includes a separate photo guide for rnd/row 2 of the squares & triangles, along with how the slip stitch seam is worked. The photo guide is a good way to compare your stitching progress to the written instructions. For a list of stitches used in pattern, pls see below.
For the month of August 2023, 50% of pattern sales is donated to Alberta Homeward Hound Rescue, a local non-profit rescue organization for dogs. Please visit AHHRB for more information about the organization.

Half square: 2 rows = 1” H x 1.5” W / 2.5 x 3.8 cm, after blocking.
As an accessory, gauge is not critical, but a match in gauge will yield the closest resulting finished item to the photographed sample, and fall within the written yardage. Feel free to work a longer, shorter, or even a wider bandana. All that’s needed is the yardage based on your stitching tension and modification you’ve chosen for your kerchief.
