This knit baby blanket is wonderfully light and soft, so baby will love to snuggle with it. Easy to make with simple alternating of knit and purl stitches, so great for a beginner or any knitter wanting a relaxing pattern. The pattern is reversible (same on both sides), and the stitch design gives a great feel to the blanket with nice stretch. The simple garter stitch border is worked as you go. I worked this in a pretty color for a baby girl, but you can simply switch yarn colors to make it for a baby boy. Makes a wonderful baby gift. You can also adapt the size and yarn requirements to make larger for any age.
