Little Boxes
Pattern gives instructions for child’s S, M, L (2-3 yrs, 4-5, 6-7), but also gives yarn requirements for adult medium without instructions for the adult size.
Based on the photos of the Northern California hillside houses that you see in San Francisco and Daly City and which accompany this pattern, those houses were the inspiration for the pattern, just like the song “Little Boxes,” written by Malvina Reynolds and popularized by Pete Seeger (also known as the theme song from “Weeds”). This pattern is a perfect representation of those houses.
