I used Red Heart Super Saver heavy worsted weight yarn as well as Lion Brand Wool-Ease and they both worked very well. As for the size of the needles, I would say my suggested 5.00mm is good for most of the worsted yarns I’ve used, but if you use a different weight, go with what it says on your ball band.
