This is the little girl’s version of the Calla adult woman’s cardigan. It is worked seamlessly, mostly flat, from the top down with contiguous set-in sleeves, using the method developed by SusieM. It features an allover 2-row lace pattern, which is very easily memorized and is very economical on yarn. Directions are included for cropped and hip-length versions, and cap or short sleeves. Using a cotton or cotton-blend yarn will make a very nice, light layer for summertime wear.

Little Calla works up super-quickly (The cropped size XS took me about 6 hours total) and is a fun knit that gives great results.
